Public engagement is about how the public interacts with the Town of Cochrane to contribute to decisions. We implement different ways to have people participate collaboratively in problem solving and decision making. Public input plays a critical role in governance and decision making. 

Based on the input received we will develop a Framework that will be taken to council for review and consideration.  

The Public Engagement Framework outlines the structure and key elements in Cochrane’s approach to public engagement. The Framework provides consistent and clear guidance on how to plan, deliver, report and evaluate public engagement activities. It is an internal tool meant to support staff who work in this space.
